Rescue 911.

Lately I've been complaining about my stay in Labuan.

Pfftttt. Takde shopping malls.
Pfftttt. Takde tempat karaoke.
Pfftttt. Takde tempat lepak best.
Pfftttt. Kawan tak ramai nak lepak.
Pfftttt. Wayang pon takde nak tgk movie kt mana?

And the list goes on.

But I found a new list.
It's called "Things I'm thankful for in Labuan" ;)

People here, the people in Labuan whom we are working with, have been accepting us well ;)
So far we've been invited to 3 open houses, and there's one more coming this Friday ;D

And because I only brought one baju kurung, how can I wear the same one to all open houses T_T
Here comes the rescue.
Labuan is the home for cheap and beautiful/quality fabrics =')

One day I was worried of what to wear to an open house, so I went down my apartment and straightaway found a baju kurung kedah at one shop..

And I got it for RM50.
Yes u heard me right. 1 pair for RM50.
I owe u Labuan ;')

Wore it for beraya at one village in Labuan, near the beach.
And tasted my 1st Soto Makasar.
Sedap gile =')
Hee.

I love u Labuan!

Love your job. It will love u back.

When everybody's stuck in the traffic jam/lrt to work every morning,
We're already at the sea port, waiting for the boat to bring us to a one & a half hour journey to the sea.
When everybody's dressed up, wearing heels to work,
We wear coveralls with heavy boots on our feet.
When everybody goes for a lepak at mamak after work,
We catch the boat to go back to the land and slept on the boat floor.
But we love our job.
Here's the prove.

=B

After a few minutes lying on the boat floor,
The sea gets rough and the sea water splashes on our face.

Yes, your job will love u back.

Someone Like You.

Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me, I beg
I'll remember you said,
"Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead."

News.

You are lucky I don't have a gun to shoot you.

Goodbye Pikachu.

I'm sad.
This little monster has left us for another company.

How can I not be sad.
I woke up everyday to her loud voice.
She'd jump on the bed when I'd comfortably laid down.
We traveled everywhere together.
We shared the same house, the same meal.
When I'm home and bored she'll come & pick me up.
Shopping, lepaking, gossiping whenever we had chance.
We'd even cried together.

Dear Afiqah,
This 4 months had been a wonderful journey knowing someone like you.
You deserve to be where you are right now.
You are such a strong-willed, beautiful inside out woman I know.
All the best in your future undertakings.
I'm sure you'll meet a great guy who will love you for who you are.
With all his heart.
Because you deserve it ;')

I didn't cry when you left us yesterday,
But trust me my heart teared,
More than the the tears in the eyes can show.

But above all that,
I'm happy for you.
Selamat terbang kawanku ;')
I'll surely miss you swimming on my bed =B

Oh mak.

Just a few hours after my post on 'Jodoh' came out, I found this on FB.

The conversation between my bestfriend & my mum.

The one person who likes it?

Of course me.

 -_-"

Sigh.

Jodoh. Hmm.

Lately I've been googling, thinking & asking around people about jodoh.
In my age, seeing my friends getting engaged/married one by one, in every single month since the day I graduated, I would be lying if I said I don't feel the pressure.
I'm far from saying I want to get married as soon as I can, but it got me questioning about jodoh.
The pros n cons of getting married early/late.
How to know if he's the right jodoh for u.
Why some people met their jodoh awal, ada yg lambat.
How to work to get the right jodoh.
Etc etc.

And then I found this article.

It answered all my questions above.

Read it HERE.

There's this one phrase which caught my eyes,

"Usia 25 tahun rasanya belumlah terlalu lewat. Dan usia 35 tahun belum apa-apa kalau sepanjang usia itu telah digunakan untuk membina kecemerlangan."

Oh and there's another one,

"Biar lambat jodoh asalkan mendapat Mr. Right dan biar seorang diri daripada menjadi mangsa lelaki yang tidak beriman kemudian nanti."

Hihihi. These phrases made me smile. They make sense really.
Ada yg lama berkasih tapi tak kahwin2. Ada yg jumpe kejap je terus nikah.
The answer is simple, jodoh itu ketentuan Tuhan.
To all my single ladies out there, don't worry. Jodoh itu ada daripada Tuhan, just you don't know when is your time. Mana tau esok ke kan? =B

Speaking about jodoh, if u read my previous post, I met an auntie on my flight to KK. Yesterday her kids came to my place & we went swimming together ;)

 Kamil & Nabila B)

Yin yin & Nabila ;)

Adorable little kids I met ;) This is another form of jodoh. If we weren't on that flight that day, we wouldn't have met the beautiful, kind hearted auntie and her kids. And we wouldn't be out swimming & having fun together =B Geramnye tgk budak2 ni tib2 rasa nak kawin cepat la =B

My Raya, finally.

Sorry for the late raya post. I don't have a camera so I had to chase here & there to get the golden pieces. Hee.

Where should I start. Hmm.

Hmm.

Okay 1, 2, 3 start!

Me & my siblings at our grandmother's, Sungai Balang, Muar.

Me & Balqis beraya at Kulim & Tg. Malim

Balqis's adorable lil sister, Syairah ;)

My housemate, Fiqah and her chilhood friend, Nabila Syanaz. Laksam dia sedap giler!

Raya at my house

Raya at Embun's. The most delicious spaghetti ;)

Back in KK. Sambung beraya sakan kat rumah auntie Fiqah hee.

We met this young looking auntie on our flight to KK. She was kind enough to invite us to makan2 at her house ;') Tq auntie!

This is the first raya without my mum besides me, cooking lodeh, rendang, nasi impit, kuah kacang and laksa johor, as she is living overseas. That explains why most of my pictures are filled with my beloved friends. But I have no complain. I am happy raya-ing with my buddies, going to their village where I've never been, met new people and tasted the most delicious food, just the same like when I'm with my family. Tq friends ;')

Now I'm back in KK, back to work. And just recovered from a 3-days fever. Maybe I ate too much -_-"

I hope u guys had the most memorable raya ;) Till then, take care ;D

P/s: Someone who is close to me just lost his father yesterday. Sama2 doakan semoga rohnya ditempatkan dikalangan orang beriman. Al-Fatihah.
