They won!

On previous post sy cite pasal Tashya's Ink kan. That was the prelim. Last night we went to the finals.
And guess what. They won!!!!!!!!


Despite the fact that they are only 4 in the band, and Tashya's guitar had a problem during their performance, they won!
Memang terbukti dorang ni terer wahlawei.
Bayangkan band lain smpai dkat 10 org 1 band, instrument x boleh blah dgn seksofon, sita, keyboard gendang lah bagai, well they are hebat in their on way, but still can't beat Tashya's Ink :D
I think Tashya's Ink has this X-factor, kuasa memukau penonton yg hebat dgn lagu yg catchy yg audience sume bole ikut nyanyi skali. That's what so special about them. Tak perlu bunyi kuat dung dang dung dang yg smpai x dgr vokal. Cukup muzik yg harmonize, combined with Tashya's  gr8 voice.

Tashya's Ink

I had a gr8 night the other day. Thank u beautiful Maria sebab ajak~
We went to Malaysia Breakout Showcase (prelim) @ Aswara to support Maria's bro. He's a bassist for the band Tashya's Ink.
When I saw the vocalist, Tashya, she looked familiar. Small, cute with big voice and cool attitude. 
And when they started to perform..
The whole dewan yg mula2 xde live n x ramai org, jadi penuh!!
And when she started to sing, I fall in love with the band straight away.The songs. The voice. The attitude. The stage presence. Everything.
Haha macam hyperbola pulak. Tapi betul!

After they performed, Maria told me that Tashya was the winner of My Starz LG 2007.
Oh patut lah sgt familiar!
She's got a real talent.
This band is going to be big I'm sure :)


As expected, the band made it through to the finals!

25 Random Things, Facts, Habits & Goals

Mari kita lihat 25 fakta tentang Belon.

1. A friend of mine called me "Belon" during my foundation year in UTP. I don't know why, but the name melekat sampai skarang & I think it suits me  :)
2. Orang slalu cakap saya kembar mak saya. I'm glad I am :)
3. I have been hospitalized 4 times. First patah tangan sebab main gayut2 kat playground, second badan dehydrated doktor kena masuk air dlm badan, third operate ketumbit kat mata, fourth operation buang appendix. Doktor cakap kalau saya lambat dtg hospital 1 jam, saya boleh mati. Alhamdulillah I'm still here :)
4. (SAPE TAKUT DARAH JANGAN BACA NI)  Lepas operation appendix, tempat operate kat perut belah kanan got infected. And doktor belah perut saya, masa saya tengah SEDAR. TOTALLY AWAKE.
5. My parents got divorced when I was 7.
6. After SPM, I followed my mom to UK for her masters, got into a college there for a week. Suddenly UTP called me to offer the scholarship & I went back to Malaysia alone. I didn't regret though. I made a lot of great friends and learned to be independent :)
7. My father works in Sudan & I only get to see him 4 times a year.
8. I own a band in UTP. It's called INFLUX. I even wrote the lyrics for our song :)
9. I took guitar class during my internship days. I play once in a while tapi still tak handal. Hehee.
10. I love small floral prints and polka dots. They make me happy :D
11. I want to have my own boutique one day. U can imagine what I'll have in it. Lots and lots and lots of small floral prints and polkadots and baju2 kaler tahi. gagagagagagagaga :DD
12. Some people have dimples, but I have a few deep lines on my cheeks when I smile or laugh. macam misai kucing.
13. In pictures I rarely show my teeth. I don't know why.
14. I have degree in engineering. Bile org tanye blaja kos ape n saya jawab engineering, dorg kata, " Ko nak jadi engineer? Tak sesuai langsung!" -_-"
15. I love shopping.Like hell. If I see something I like, I'll get it no matter what. I can imagine bankruptcy if I don't do something about it now.
16. Masa kecik, saya pernah tertumpah kan milo kat dapur. Pembantu rumah naik angin. lalu mentonyoh mata kiri saya dgn span basuh pinggan besi T_T balik2 cite kat mak pastu kene pecat padan muke.
17. Pernah sesat kat airport Dubai otw nak blk Malaysia from UK. Masa tu sorg2. The whole airport berbunyi, " Nabilah Liyana Abdul Rahman, plz come to counter XXX now." Gile femes weh hehee.
18. Suke gila MAGGI GORENGGGGGG!!! Tambah Milo Ais. Mantoppp.
19. Still pakai lagi baju kurung Darjah 6.
20. Takut tido dalam sunyi atau gelap. Kalau ade teman takpe. Kalau sorang2 kena tido bukak lampu or tv. Bil letrik melambung mak pun mengamuk.
21. Suke travel yg amat. Sape nak blanja saya pegi tour EUROPE saya syg dia ;)
22. Lemah sukan. Satu sukan pun tak terer.
23. I don't plan this, but my lappy, hp & mp3 player are all Sony, and pink.
24. I hope one day I'll meet the right man to spend the rest of my life with :)
25. Life has made me a strong person. Alhamdulillah.

The good memories


I love going to weekend bazaar.
Bijou Bazaar @ Solaris Mont Kiara was my 1st bazaar :D
Went there with Maria & Erni.
Yay!

A few months later, we organized a booth at Afair Weekend Bazaar, at the same place, with Adilah.
It was on Earth Hour Day of 2009 if I'm not mistaken.
We had so much fun B)

Dan kali ketiga pegi Monster Kiara ialah semalam.

Pegi sebab hanta mak kat klinik kat situ.

Sementara mak kat klinik, sy lunch dgn Achan yg keje area ctu.

Makan kat Meatworks. Not bad :))

Now comes the bad part.

The bad memories

So I have been to Monster Kiara three times.

First time naik train pastu tumpang Maria pg sana. Tak drive tapi sepatutnya dah start kenal2 jalan.

Second time, I drove. Booth kat Solaris Mont Kiara sepatutnya kne setup pukul 11am.

Punyalah horror nak sampai sana, 2 jam sesat on the road. Padahal dah nampak dah bangunan2 yg familiar but still! Sesat 2 jam! Pukul 1pm baru sampai. Sian Maria kne setup booth sorg2 T_T

Third time was yesterday,masa hanta mak pg klinik. 

The night before, dah siap google map,dah siap tanye Achan mcmane nak pegi Mont Kiara.

Pagi nak pegi tu, boleh plak senggugut. Dol punya perut.

Sampai kat tol, ade dua cabang, KIRI JOHOR BHARU, KANAN IPOH SHAH ALAM.

Demmit. Mane signboard KUALA LUMPUR!!!!

Oleh kerana cemas dan senggugut, saya masuk simpang JOHOR BHARU.

............

Nak nangis rasa. Mak dah bising2 kat sbelah. Last2 jumpe simpang pusing balik KUALA LUMPUR.

Bahagia tak terkata. Tapi tol bayar RM9.80 dan rugi setengah jam T_T

Sampai2 area Monster Kiara, I lost again. I saw the familiar buildings again, tapi tak tahu masuk jalan mane T_T

Pastu langgar divider.

Putus asa, call Achan suh direct thru handphone sampai lah btul2 sampai.

Dah sampai, tensi, balas dendam makan kat Meatworks habis bepuluh2 ringgit haha.

Taktau la Mont Kiara ni. Selalunye kalau pg mane2, google map, x pernah sesat, especially tempat yg dah 2 3 kali pegi.

Drive pegi Pavi, KLCC, Mid, Sg Wang elok je? Lagi teruk traffic jam.

Mont Kiara tak suke sy kot.

That's why I call it Monster Kiara.

(I seriously need a GPS. Anyone kind enough to give me one? B))
